History and origins

Construction began on 7/3/2012. On 12/3/2017, the Buddhist Executive Board of the then Kon Tum Province held a ceremony announcing the appointment of the abbot. This is a modern religious establishment, although its form incorporates many traditional elements.

Architecture & surroundings

The rooflines and arrangement draw on the image of Central Highlands rông houses. Courtyards, steps and worship halls relate to the hillside, creating a transition between forest and ceremonial space. Quiet conduct helps protect both the study environment and the landscape.

Cultural value

Khánh Lâm represents an encounter between Buddhist architecture and Central Highlands identity. Community commemorative activities connect spiritual life with local historical memory.

Events & festivals

Buddhist sources record an “Uống nước nhớ nguồn” ceremony, expressing gratitude to those who came before, on the 14th day of the second lunar month. Please check temple and local announcements for the next observance, as its actual timing and scale may change.
